If 10^1/2 is irrational , porve that if a , b are intergers such that a+ b10^1/2=0 ,then a=b=0

b√10 = -a
√10 = -a/b
Since b is not zero, it implies √10 is rational. This is contradiction to the fact that √10 is irrational. Therefore the supposition is wrong and b = 0.
a + b√10 = 0
=> a + (0)√10 = 0
=> a = 0
So a = 0
