英文名Hollis 的讀音

Sound: Ho Lis (lis is like LIS ten), but without the T sound.

The name sounds really feminine, but I never heard of that in North America. Don't use Holly, because it sounds like "holy". And, only if you don't mind being similar to "Hollywood." xP

For the word "listen", it sounds like " lisn".

Listen = li +sn( sn is one sound) <--------This is a bad example!

s=a voiceless alveolar fricative n= a nasal sound <---To combine these two sounds,
we will get the single "sn" sound.
