To my defense, we've been talking again for about 5 months, I've asked her out twice.
She's into me, but she won't go out with me. What the hell?

Let me give a little background. She was a very close friend of mine in high school. I did crush on her and told her I how felt, she didn't feel the same so I moved on. Six yrs later, we're both professionals in our respective careers. She friends me on face book and I say what hell I've moved on. Now we're talking again, catching up, and actually hanging out. All the signs are there!! She flirts with me, wants to be where I am, but most of the time its in a group. I've asked her out and I get blown off. I know her job requires a lot of OT, she's a teacher/coach. She is apologetic, says she'll make it up but never keeps her word. What do I do? Is it time to move on again?

She's trying to be nice, and your persistence is probably straining her patience and the friendship. She probably finds you attractive, but sees you only as a friend at the moment. Move on.

She might be scared and think that going out with you is a big risk. you were friends first and she might believe that if you take that step it will be impossible to go back and if the relationship goes bad you won't even be able to be friends. we women are complicated like that.
