我今日八點起身,我比平時更早,因為我一定要在返工前去銀行,但不幸地,突然落大雨,導致我返工遲左半個鍾,我上司給了我口頭警告,所以我決定不再遲到。

I woke up at eight this morning, slightly earlier than usual since I need to go to the bank before I go to office. Unfortunately, I was delayed by heavy rain which made me late for half an hour. My supervisor gave me a verbal warning so I decide that I won't be late again.
