If 2 waves of different sizes are going to meet on a spring,are they going to pass through each other or reflected back?

When they pass through each other,do the pulses remains on the same side of the spring?

The 2 waves are going to pass each other rather than being reflected back.

The 2 waves will continue on their path after passing through each other as if nothing had happened.

When they meet each other, according to the principle of superposition, the resultant amplitude of the wave is the algebraic sum of amplitude of the two waves.
