If we look at "good" from man's viewpoint, then yes, there will be "good" people who will lose their lives.
But Jehovah has a different standard for what is good.
An illustration -
If Noah had looked around and saw many people who were financially struggling, and so he says that he will help his fellow man by taking some of his extra property and planting an enormous garden and giving the excess produce away to feed the hungry, that would be "good".
But Jehovah's instructions were for him to build the Ark. Had Noah not built the Ark, the "good" he was doing would have cost him, his families' lives, and would have had an effect on mankind's future.
Now I know this is just an illustration. But it helps us to see that man's goodness may be for the moment but not for a person's everlasting future.
We have to do things in God's time and in his way, or it can cost us our life, or at least our contentment and peace of mind.
So those who are doing what God requires will survive - others may lose their lives, although at first glance they may seem like "good" people.

Lets hope we don't have any self fulfilling prophesies because of this belief. We already had people flying planes into buildings due to their beliefs in evil fairy tales.
These verses cause these irrational behavior in the faithful.

As Jesus himself said: “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.”—Mt 7:21.
There were some good people that died in the flood of Noah's day because they did not know Jehovah God and were not actively serving Jehovah.
(John 17:3) This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.
Well we know that just cause your good, that doesn't mean your saved, you have to have the Holy Spirit which seals you,and I believe protects you from the onslaught that will occur to sinful man and satan and his demons.

What do you mean good people: the people who doesn't cause harm to others but they didn't follow Gods instructions... Yes they will be destroy why cause if they know Gods instructions but they didn't follow...I think we must not only do good to others but also the first and foremost we follow Jehovah's Instruction...Like what happened to the early Christians who doesn't listen to Jesus instructions to flee in Jerusalem if they see all the detestable this happen...

Do you honestly believe that God created an entire race of people, gave them souls, and choices, just to damn 98% of them to a place of eternal torment and anguish? Doesn't seem logical to me. My earthy father would never torture me eternally no matter what bad things i did. The belief in hell suggests that our heavenly father is less capable of love and mercy than humans. That is blasphemmy.
As for the end time prophesies? i believe they are misinterpreted by humans, and are actually prophesies about when the earth is settled in peace and harmony. When the human race, as a whole, becomes as clost to being morally perfect as they are capable of becoming. The bible only ever describes hell in metaphores. i believe us humans misinterpreded that is a place of physical torment. I believe that when a person dies, if they are not willing and able to progess in their journey towards god, then they will simply be destroyed (as in cease to exist). "for the wages of sin is death" Notice it says death, not eternal torture. "for god so LOVED the world that he gave his only son, that who ever beleives in him, shall not PERISH(not "be tortured") but have everlasting life.
People either survive death or not.
And to answer your question, people get destroyed en mass ALL the time, all throughout history, and probably forever, at least untill we advance enough to learn not to kill ourselves. Im pretty sure there will always be people who kill people. its in our monkey nature.
What do you mean by "good"? Good according to the world's standard? People who get destroyed will not be good according to Jehovah's standard.
That which does not conform to God’s standard of moral excellence is wicked, bad, evil, or worthless.
Goodness is moral excellence and virtue, the quality or state of being good. But it is more than a passive state.
“Hardly will anyone die for a righteous man; indeed, for the good man, perhaps, someone even dares to die. But God recommends his own love to us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:7, 8)
Paul apparently had in mind the thought that righteousness involves conforming to a standard.
The “righteous” man is law abiding. He meets a criterion, fulfills a quota, but may do little beyond that. Thus he wins respect but not necessarily hearts. Few would be moved to die for him. However, the “good” man does more than fulfill obligations or avoid wrongdoing. His goodness motivates him to exert himself for others, to do things for them.
The publications plainly state:

The Bible says: “There is a controversy that Jehovah has with the nations. He must personally put himself in judgment with all flesh. As regards the wicked ones, he must give them to the sword.”—Jeremiah 25:31.
“For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth . . . As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.”—Proverbs 2:21, 22.
I don't know if you are asking a trick question or not. I don't know if I'm following the way you stated the question.
Genesis 18:23 "Then Abraham approached and began to say: “Will you really sweep away the righteous with the wicked?" We know that Jehovah said he would not sweep away the righteous with the wicked.
Of course it's possible to fail to live up to our dedication and come to be in a wicked state, with a wicked heart condition, while still being a witness in name only.

Unfortunately, when the tares (the wicked) are gathered from the field, some of the wheat will be lost also. Whether this means that because the wheat is so closely tied to the tares that they are pulled up at the same time, or whether it simply means they are harvested early, is not clear.
Destruction is a matter of interpretation, but my feeling is that the "destruction" is the destruction of the wicked and that the good will be harvested, not destroyed.
the good people will destroy the wicked!
