Fake Webcam, Possible Pervert/Danger?

so ive bein talking to a guy online. he says hes 19 (im 18), and is real nice. ive been speaking to him for 8 months and he has showed me pictures, but today i went online and he was like "hey ive got a webcam" and we both went on cam. the first thing that struck me was the guy on webcam was a hell of alot more muscly and had dark hair, and looked 15-16. The guy in the pics was average build and blondeish. Anyways we were on cam and it was like.. the guy on web cam didnt type at the same time? plus he went off after 3-4 mins and was like "oh its broken now" the web cam seemed to skip (eg: he was itching his eye, then itd skip to him laughing.) i dunno, im really worried cause ive done stuff on cam & i really doubt that this guys for real. plus his webcam said "many cam" at the top?!

if the pics don't match up to the images then it does sound very wrong. Streaming is often patchy and often skips or is delayed but it wouldn't obviously change anybodies appearence! did you meet this guy online? to me it all sounds very worng and i would leave well alone if i were you. Especially if you been using your own cam, you don't want to be lead to doing anything that you'll regret especially when you don't know who is watching.

What do you mean by "done stuff on cam"?
If you've done anything to be ashamed of or embarrassed by then you've only yourself to blame and have learnt a valuable lesson.
Why do you think that the media constantly warns kids about the dangers of online friendships? They do it becasue it's true that there are predators and perverts out there who prey on kids who are too young to understand the danger and on adults like yourself who think "oh it won't happen to me" and simply don't listen to the warnings. At 18 you should have more sense.

First, no possible see you thru your webcam whether that's no longer activated. 2d, the only one that can see you in any respect is the guy to whom you're related and in uncomplicated terms then if the cam is activated. you're able to have a notification on your demonstrate screen whilst the cam is activated or deactivated.

Yeah, it sounds like he could have been transmitting someone else's video. It's hard to say for sure because some skipping is normal. it's hard for the connection to keep up with the video stream and that can make it seem jerky or out of synch. On the other hand, if he doesn't match his description or the picture he showed you before, that sounds fishy.
