Why does it seem that most guys like to text rather than talk on the phone?

Most guys have a hard time communicating and opening up when it comes to women.

I personally like talking on the phone,...but I guess its just easier to text some one :/

I agree, although I am a guy and I would MUCH rather talk on the phone than text, it makes all your points 100% rather than just saying, "uh.. maybe" through a text because that leaves everyone wondering. On the phone, they can hear the tone of your voice and everything else. I like to talk on the phone more.

That's a myth. Girls are the ones who rather text then talk on the phone. I wish that I could say not all girls text but they do. If a guy is talking to a chick & he only text her, that means that he only wants pussy & not taking serious with the girl. You should watch the movie called "He is not into you".

I'm a girl and it I much prefer texting rather than talking on the phone because phone calls can get awkward if you run out of things to say and you don't get any time to think of an answer to a question or anything. Guys are probably just like me and think it is so much easier to just text. Also if you have a large family (hard to find privacy) or a sibling that plays loud music or something it can be hard to talk on the phone. Hope this helped :)
