check out the civic si, predlude, and the del sole. but best choice i think would b the civic SI... its a turboed engine and very cheap and ez to work on and u can so pretty much anything to a civic
"fun-to-drive". Any car can be fun to drive. I've driven a armored personnel carrier that was fun to drive. So that doesn't narrow it down at all.
"fast" - Compared to what? Highway speed fast? Faster than a shopping cart? Faster than 200 mph? Any car you get, will be able to go highway speed, and that's as fast as you can go, legally. So, again, that doesn't narrow it down.
"sporty" - Define that. Actual sports car like the NSX, or sporty like the newer Civics that have nothing "sport" about them?
Why below 70k miles? A car can have 20,000 miles, and be a piece of junk. Miles don't tell you anything, except how far it was driven. Doesn't tell you how hard it was driven. How it was maintained. Whether it was raced, or really any useful info at all.
So, based on the sheer vagueness of this question...there's no way to give you an actual answer.
A Civic isn't sporty, fast, and not fun to drive in my opinion.
A Prelude is somewhat sport. But not fast. It's a 4 cyl with 160~ hp, roughly.
Plus, to get one of the year that would be in your price range, you'll have more than 70k miles.
Not that miles do anything for you. I've seen an 80 year old woman run a marathon. So should I say people with 80 years are in good shape, or bad? Depends on how healthy the exact person is.
Cars are the same.
And further, you're perfectly capable of looking up "Honda cars" on wiki, or google, and browsing the list of their vehicles, anyway.
Why do you need us to suggest anything, when you're able to do it yourself?
ther r some "fun to drive" Civic Si and preludes, but they r not fast. something like an S2000 or NSX would b fast, and "fun to drive" and is a Honda/Acura car, but th S2k and NSX would b over 20 grand.
