Can you legally carry around a gun? (Toronto, Canada)?

I was wondering if it is legal to carry around gun in public? (say you have some sort of license) ..... would the cops take you in?

it is illegal , unless you taking your gun to a shop, shooting ring, or another location it is illegal. just because you have a license doesn't mean you can carry it around unless you a cop

I don't believe handguns are legal in Canada without a special permit.
In the big cities, carrying a rifle or shotgun around would get you a lot of police attention too. Even here in the US.

Illegal, Canada doesn't have 2nd amendment rights.
