Earthquake in Tokyo? Sep-Oct09

I live in Saitama Prefecture, which is in the north of Tokyo.
Actually, the earthquake prediction has not been reported neither on TV nor newspapper in Japan. Of course, most of the Japanese, including my Japanese husband, don't know the earthquake prediction. I wonder why only the HK mass media spread the earthquake prediction in the world. I was shocked when I read the earthquake prediction news about Tokyo on Oriental Daily website. Some of my friends asked me whether I had known the earthquake prediction news. Of course, I read the news before my friends asked me cos I check HK news on the web everyday.

I've checked the Japanase websites by searching words like 'earthquake prediction'. None of the earthquake prediction websites report it. So, I wonder whether the earthquake prediction by 'HK Mass Media' is correct or not.

Most of the previous Kanto earthquakes occurred in Chiba Prefecture or Tochigi Prefecture. Narida International Airport and Disneyland are located in Chiba Prefecture. If strong earthquake occurs in Chiba Prefecture, Narida International Airport and Disneyland may close. Also, if tsunami occurs, Odaiba and Haneda Airport will be affected cos both of them are located near to the sea.
