should i try out for softball?

well my school is a small catholic shcool and i was thinking of trying softball. they told us that even if we havent played league that they are looking for people to play so idk. i played in gym and i was i think pretty good. i am in track so i run so i was thinking this may keep me in shape too. should i try? is it worth it? should i ask the coach what i should do? if so what position?

Softball is great. If you're an athletic girl and you like to have fun, go ahead and give it a try. You'll probably regret not at least giving it a shot, just like I felt about wrestling and football. Its a sport that combines athleticism and creates some good team chemistry with other girls.

And from a social standpoint, most cool guys like girls who are athletic and can be 'gritty' ... very attractive when a girl isnt too prissy.

Softball especially in private school is all about fun so yeah i would definately consider it
