If the single-slip plate of the ray-box is replaced with a triple-slit plate so that the ray-box emits three parallel light rays striking the plane mirror, will the reflected rays be parallel? Explain your answer according to the experimental results.

Of course, the reflected eays will be parallel.

We can easily set an experiment to get that.

Firstly, we can place a white paper on a smooth desk.

Then, we can set up a miror that can reflect the light rays.

Then, we draw a straight line called normal which is proportional to the plane mirror

Then, we place a ray-box with a triple-slit plate on the paper and set a light at behind

Then, switch on the light and observe how those three light rays go

Then, we can measure the angle of reflection and angle of incident of both three light rays

Then, we can record down all the measurement and compare both of them

Finally, you will find that both of the angle of incident and angle of reflection of three light rays are both the same. And you can easily conclude that they are parallel to each others
