我的興趣是看電影,除了是愛情片,我讀大學時幾乎每日看電影,因為學校生活好悶,我不能做任何事,而致看電影成為了我的興趣.
Watching movies apart from romantic ones is something I like the most. I remember having spent lots of my spare time watching
all kinds of films almost every day when studying at university.
You could never picture how humdrum my days were when I had nothing to do in my dorm.
University life absolutely bored me to death! Movies are what pop into my head when I am at leisure because of that.

The words "movie" and "film" are both countable nouns in the sentences.
when i was a student of university <--- kinda clumsy
when studying at university <----- much better
when studying(v-ing)
apart from = except
We usually say " to SEE a movie in the cinema"
and " to watch TV/VCDs/DVDs at home".
