Adjectives vs adverbs
Adjectives=形容詞
To describe/modify形容/修飾 nouns or pronouns代名詞 with them
(((Adjectives are placed before the noun.))))))
Examples:
1) He is a handsome(Adjective) man( countable noun).
2) Peter (pronoun) is handsome.(adjective) 形容 Peter

Examples:
1) It is a pretty(opinion) red(colour) sailing(purpose) boat.
2) She is a silly(opinion) small(size) old(age) Japanese(origin) lady.

Adverbs副詞 can be used to modify (adjectives, adverbs, verbs(actions) and the whole sentence.)
1) This is a REALLY(adverb) nice(adjective) car(noun).
( To modify=修飾 the adjective"nice" with " really")
2) He is running so(adverb)非常 fast(adjective).
( To modify the other adverb(fast) with "so")
" so fast" = to describe the action"running" as well.
3) He is working hard(adverb).
"working"<-- the action
4) Unfortunately(adverb), those people died in the car accident.

Some words can be used as adverbs and adjectives.
-He is a fast(adjective) runner(noun).
-He is running fast(adverb).
- She is a slow(adjective) worker(noun).
-She works slow(adverb).

look them up in the dictionary.
