2) One plus one equals two. (這裡不用加 "to" )
"equal" 在這裡是一個及物動詞，而 "two" 是受詞
3) One plus one is equal to two. ( 在這裡我們要用"to" )
"equal" 在句子中是形容詞
4) One and one is two. ("and" 是一個連接詞)

5) One and one is equal to two.
6) One and one equals two.
7) One and one makes two.
8) When one is added to one, we will get two.

"One" 在這裡是一個數字. 它不能自己加(ADD)去變成任何其他數字!
"is added" 是被動式. 我們加起那些數字.<----
