True!
The Dodgers will be playing against the Indians in Interleague play before he retires.
In 2010 the Dodgers will play the Red Sox In Fenway so that should be interesting.
He became a fan-favorite in Los Angeles. It doesn't look like Jim Thome is going back, and Manny wanted to go with him. After the Indians traded all their best players besides Sizemore, they adopted a different stratagey. In a few years, they aren't going to be looking for veteran big-name outfielders making $15,000,000 when they can find the same talent without the expierence for $5,000,000.
Its unlikely that he will play ever again after the 2010 season. The dodgers can't drop him because of a clause in his contract or else they would have by now. he hurt his chances to be resigned to another team with the last steroid test he took.
Manny Ramirez will be playing against the Cleveland Indians at some point before he retires regardless of what team he plays for whether it's still the Los Angeles Dodgers or another team but I highly doubt he'll ever be playing for the Cleveland Indians before he retires. It'd be nice but even with the current economy the way it is now he'll still be wanting a boatload of bucks and that's something Larry Dolan will never dish out for any player at all no matter who they are and no matter how high caliber they are.
We would love to have him, but it will NEVER happen with Dolan and his cheap A$$! Jim Thome is a free agent this off- season too, but we won't get a chance there either. It's a shame too, we sold out the Jake 455 staight times back in the 90's and now the Dolan's can't (won't) spend a nickle to get us a feeling of that again!
