2 question about 512earthquake.........

1)find a picture that show the occurence of the earthquake

2)why was the death toll of the earthquake so high?

1) I think it is too difficult to take a picture when the earthquake started. Maybe you can look at the picture that is the afterimage of the earthquake.

2) First, because the earthquake was as high as 8 level and many people did not know it as first so the damage of the earthquake was so critical. The death toll was then so high. Second, the buildings that were built that time were so weak and the buildings were jerry-built so that when the earthquake happened, the buildings fell instantly and many people died because of that so the death toll was so high.
