The series 8+6+4+2+4+2/3+...... can be considered as :
(8+4+2+...)+(6+2+2/3+...)
For (8+4+2+...) ,
the sum to infinity=8/(1-1/2)=16
For (6+2+2/3+...) ,
the sum to infinity=6/(1-1/3)=9
So , the sum to infinity of the series 8+6+4+2+4+2/3+...... is 16+9=25
