如何建立家居網絡？

1. Buy a router for internet sharing and LAN setup. Router has two functions, connect your home network to internet by routing your traffic to PCCW through the WAN (or Internet) interface port on router. Some router call this port is WAN port, some router call this port is Internet. No matter they called, they are function the same which is used to route your internet inquiry traffic from LAN to PCCW. Another function on router which allow you to connect more than one PC to the LAN ports on router, usually for home user based router, there are 4 LAN ports, you can plug 4 PC to those LAN ports with straight through Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 network cable. If you got a wireless router, you can also connect your wireless equipped PC, laptop, of cellular phone, etc to router too.

2. Once you got all PC connected to the LAN port, in order to share your file between computers, you need to do "Sharing" on each computer, if you are using Vista, please see this site for step by step procedure on how to share file.
