i want to ask that "freedom" is using to or for ?

i hate him because he doesn't give any freedom __________ them(people).
so what i need to use ? to or for?

for or to also mean give. but this case in English, it got to be "to". sorry to tell this it hasn't got much logic to it. u'll just have to remember this one. I hope it helped u abit though. :-)
