i believe lee is his first name. Cuz when you say a name in japanese, its respect to say the last name first. and in the english and japanese series, they both refer to him as lee.

His name is Lee. I don't know whether you've watched the japanese or english version, but in japanese their last name comes first. ex. Uchiha Itachi instead of Itachi Uchiha. So it's Rock Lee. Although Lee Rock sounds weird and "Rock" isn't even a japanese name so it might just be his whole name and they just call him Lee for short...

his name is Lee but i think they get his name from Jet Lee and Bruce Lee.
