Girls introducing their boyfriends?

Do girls always introduce their boyfriends to her new friends? I asked this question because I have a female friend who always try to avoid telling me that she has a boyfriend (but, I always go out with her) although other of my friends know she has a boyfriend.

well are you and ur friend sometimes awkward with each other? or are you guys like best friends? maybe ur friend doesn't want to tell because she wants to keep it a secret for now.
