I read the book “The Tulip Touch”on this summer holiday. The theme of the book is about friendship. The characters of this book are Natalie and Tulip. Tulip is an unpopular girl in her class. Nobody wants Tulip in their gang. She skives off school, cheeks the teachers and tell the awful lies to her classmates. But there is none of these matters to Natalie. She doesn’t care that other people are upset and unnerved by Tulip’s bizarre games. They becomes good friends and play happily. However, Tulip goes to the bad. She decides to play the games that connecting to evil, which are more dangerous. Natalie realizes that Tulip is going too far and she seems like another person. Therefore their friendship ends.
In this compelling story, the writer explores the dark side of a friendship bordering on obsession and depicts Tulip gradually to be bad girl. After I read this book, I think Natalie and Tulip's friendship is very miserable. I believe that friends should be remind each other. Everyone has defects. Therefore providing our friends have defects, we should remind them to change. But not away from them. If our friends do bad things, we should tell them not to do and don't follow with them. From this story, the friendship of Natalie and Tulip is a pity. However I think Natalie away from Tulip is right because Tulip just wants to be happy and don’t care what she does the bad things.
From this book, the thing that I learn is that the real friendship, real friends will help each others. We need to trust each other otherwise friendship will easily be ceased.
