What are good universities to go to, when I want to major in English and Literature?

In most states if you want to be a high school English teacher, it does not matter where you go to college. Every reputable college teaches English well enough for a good student to be able to teach it in high school. It is a basic subject, not an unusual one where a good program has to be sought out.

OMG are you being intense? merely about all those universities are rubbish, while you're from Canada i easily advise you to circumvent merely about all those places. they are all like great worst interior the country. Southampton Solent college is ranked 112 out of 114. It's very likely that your state's flagship university has the best program in, both, english and education. You'll be able to study english and get a teaching certificate in-state and at the same time. It'll save you time and money.
