Please show me how to do this step by step. I am having a hard time.

(a^2 x a^2)^2
=(a^2 x a^2)(a^2 x a^2)
=a^2 x a^2 x a^2 x a^2
=a^8
(a² · a²)²
combine a² & a² ==> when your multiplying the same base(add exponents)
a^4
==> (a^4)²
when you have one base (letter)- multiply exponents
==> a^8

(a^4)^2=a^(4*2)=a^8

a^x * a^y = a^(x+y), a^x / a^y = a^(x-y)
(a^x * a^y)^z =[ a^(x+y) ]^z = a^z(x+y)
(a² * a²)² = (a^4)^2= [a^2*4]= a^8
(a^2 * a^2)^2
= [a^(2 + 2)]^2
= [a^4]^2
= a^(4 * 2)
= a^8
a^2 x a^2 = a^4
(a^4)^2 = a^8
because (a^4)^2 is the same as a^4 x a^4, in which case you just do like in the first step and add the exponents.
option1 (a^2*a^2)^2
=(a^4)^2
=a^8
option 2 (a^2*a^2)^2
=(a^2)^2*(a^2)^2
=a^4*a^4
=a^8.
