If a sphere with radius r cm is melted and recast into a cone,suggest the dimensions of the cone.

Volume of sphere = 4pr^3/3 (p = pi)Volume of cone = pr^2h/3
so 4pr^3/3 = pr^2h/3
4r = h
that means as long as h is 4 times r, volume is unchanged.
Possible dimensions : r = 1 cm., h = 4 cm.
r = 2 cm., h = 8 cm.
