What is the prime factorization of 17?

Just 17. Note that 1 is NOT considered a prime number.

17 is a prime number because it has no factors other than 1 & 17 which implies that they are both factors.

yup 17 is the answer. you can only do (17)(1) and you cant factor it anymore

17 is it because 17 is prime

So 1 and 17 are the factors....but only 17 is the prime factor.

Since 17 is prime so 17 is fine.
