Step:
1. If there are brackets, remove all brackets. e.g. -3(2 - x) = -6 + 3x.
2. Put all terms with x on one side of the equation and other terms on the other side of the equation. e.g. 3x - 4 = x + 6, it becomes 3x - x = 6 + 4.
3. Then simplify to get the answer. ( 2x = 10, x = 10/2 = 5).
