The question is --------------------- 〡〡 --------------------- <--------------------> 10cm this table is 10cm (long/wide) the ans is wide but i do not know how to explain to the child..

LONG=長
WIDE=闊
闊=短D果邊
長=長D果邊

因為wide係(寬闊),而long係(長)。

A table is normally in rectangular shape. A table is 40cm wide by 150 cm long.
I hope that you will understand by the said example
