From our hotel, we can take the MTR and bus to Po Lin Monastery and visit the Big Buddha.Po Lin Monastery located on Lantau Island. Lantau Island is the biggest island in Hong Kong. The Big Buddha is 34 meters high and weights 250 tons. It is the largest outdoor bronze Buddha in the world. We can go to balcony to see the South China Sea.
Then, We go to vegetarian Restaurant to eat vegetarian food,like,roast duck、barbecued pork, salted chicken, scallops and delicacies. It is soya bean is the prime ingredient of vegetarian cuisine.
Then, we can take the bus to Tai O and visit the Stilt houses. The Stilt Houses are built on stilts in a narrow river channel.Tai O is also as known as the Venice of the Orient.
Then, we can buy on goods at the Tai O Market as like as salted fish, shrimp sauce and shrimp paste. Local fishermen can be found there.
Then, we can eat Tai O character food as fried rice with salted fish and chicken, salt-roasted chicken,steamedpork with shrimp paste,deep fired squid,fish and fired rice with shrimp sauce.
Then, we can go to Tung Chung by bus and go to citygate in shopping. The citygate located in Tung Chung new town. It is the Asia's largest outdoor musical fountain.
The Citygate Outlets where you can find many famous international brands at discounted prices and join local bargain-hunters and enjoy factory-outlet-style shopping.
Finally,we can go back our hotel and have a rest.
