Hi,

1. You cannot write Cantonese and Mandarin. They are dialects (方言) which can only be used orally.

2. Not many people will use the term “Mandarin” now, “Putonghua” is a more popular and actually the official term.

3. For a resume you cannot say “略懂”. Of course you cannot lie but need to put it in a more presentable way in a C.V.

4. Therefore I suggest you to change to the following:

Languages:

Chinese: Proficient in Chinese. Fluent in Cantonese and Putonghua.

English: Able to read and write English. No problem for communication.
