其實abrsm grade 8 同 grade 7 考既內容差不多， part d 八級係自由作答，考官有可能在你作答完畢再問問題。
考試範圍好大，但考生最主要要答

2)tempo
3)dynamics

7) composer
8) period


1) texture: 有分polyphonic texture, homophonic texture, 而polyphonic 可細分為contrapuntal ( simple 伴奏 + melody), 而homophonic texture 可細分為 A)chordal playing ( 簡單說 係 solid chord ) , 又可分 B) melody and accompaniment ,有好多形式 1 ) alberti bass ( 好似sonata and sonatina 個d 伴奏) 2)arpeggios 3) figurations ( 重複伴奏) 4) broken chord 5) part writing ( 單手共存MELODY + ACCOMPANIMENT

作答時 要話比考官聽melody 係L.H OR R.H


2)tempo

由快至慢通常可記幾個: presto , allegro , allegretto, moderato, andate , adagio, lento(如果tempo 冇change 就答tempo is stay the same,,通常romatic period 一定有rubato 即時快時慢 ( 搶拍)一定要講出eg ,, the tempo is moderato with some rubato..... or beginning is .. in the middle is... at the end is .. 可答 accelarando or ralletendo

3)dynamics : piano , mezzo piano , forte, mezzo forte ,,narrow range of dynamics orwith contrast,, ( baroque period 通常有echo effect 即one sentence is forte ,, next sentence is piano)

4)harmony: baroque and classical is constant harmony ,, romatic period is chromantic harmony (90%),, 20th century is dissonant harmony

5)melody: baroque period有sequence , ostinato, echo effect
romatic period 有 singing tone

6) style : 通常考官會問 ,,都係一d 舞曲 baroque 2 拍 borree, gavotte, 3拍minuet, sarabande , 4 拍allemende ,, classical 4拍march, 3拍minuet, romatic 3拍waltz, mazuke, polonaise, scherzo, nocturne, 20thcentry jazz and blue

7 ) composer: baroque 係 J.S BACH, SCARLATTI ( 好多不連音), HANDEL
CLASSICAL: MOZART, BEETHOVEN
ROMATIC: CHOPIN, LISTA, TCHAIKOVSKY
20TH CENTRY: DEBUSSY( DREAM),, BARTOK( 節奏感強), GERSWIN( JAZZ, BLUE)

8) PERIOD: 有 baroque period, classical period, romatic period, 20thcentry

注意: baroque 通常都要答 樂器用咩彈最岩= harpsichord , organ
20th centry 一定要答 character ( depresses, clam, happy)
