go for v.s go on

你好！

"go for" here has something with one's 抉擇
while "go on" mainly means to take part in that activity.(活動、行動等)

Example:
Those 10 cars are very nice.
I like the blue one the best. I think I will GO FOR it.
( 抉擇)
這度有10架車，我比較喜歡藍色，我將會買佢。
