1)A solution of cyctochrome c (Mr = 12,400) has a concentration of 6μmol/L. Calculated the amount (in mg) in 5 L.

2) If you have 5 g of haemoglobin (Mr =12,400) and you dissolve it in 500 mL of buffer, calculate the concentration in μM of this haemoglobin solution.

1. in one litre 6μmol
then in 5 =30μmol

one mole equals 12400gm
then 30μmol equals 12400*30μg
124*3 mg
