for " i will succeed "

you make check at dictionary

"Elena S" : 我 i 要 want 成功 success ; its "want" not "will"

"Chemistry (тєυтσ)! =D" 's translate is correct !
我 i 會 will 成功 success (succeed)
in traditional: 我會成功!
in simplified: 我会成功!

but in tattoo, i would like to suggest :
绝对 absolutely 成功 success (succeed)
in traditional: 絕對成功
in simplified: 绝对成功

.
參考: - I know several language.... ...ofcourse including both traditional & simplified chinese.... and can speak chinese fluent in different dialects: mandarin, cantonese, taiwanese.... ....had been passed china government chinese proficiency test at highest level with grade A..... and also was a chinese teacher before.....

kc gave the best answer among all answerers.

I agree with him that "我要成功" sounds awkward for a tattoo. Chinese people don't use "I" in every sentence. "绝对成功" is much better, but may be a little bit ambiguous without context. It could mean "absolute success" or "will absolutely succeed" or even "have absolutely succeeded" since there is no word to indicate when the success occurs.

I recommend

一定成功

(literally "must succeed")

It means the success has not come yet, but it is inevitable and will surely come. That is the best expression i could think of

PS: I just asked my grilfriend, who has a deeper understanding of chinese language than i do. She recommended:

吾必功成

(literally "I will definitely succeed")

This is ancient chinese. It sounds like something said by an famous ancient Chinese emperor, and is far more better than "一定成功". I strongly recommend this expression!

*** It has to say "i will succeed" but how can i get it translated for free and be able to trust its right? ***

Like you said, you will succeed --- thought you could use your own cheer up ..

Tolerância Zero!!! (тєυтσ)! =D is right. You can trust him.
