✔ 最佳答案
it is right because it uses passive voice(被動句), passive voice is formed by has/have been +pp,for example , the pp of go is one, the pp of play is played.Have you got it? it is exactely a right grammar.

if it is a present prefect tense ,it may change into XXXX has now promoted to the position of senior manager

SOR it should be

2009-07-27 20:46:01 補充:
XX has just/already been promoted to

I would remove the adverb "now" in the original sentence. Here is my version: XXX has (just/already) BEEN promoted( passive voice) to senior manager. " The position of" is not needed in the sentence.

現在完成式係講一啲嘢在過去(不久)前發生, "has been promoted"係正確, "now"係形容現在的事實, 所以無問題。如果小學的英文, 我們會教佢見到"now"就用現在進行式或現在式, 但係喺實際用途上並不可行。
這句無問題。

no, it's not a wrong sentence, it's correct!
''has been promoted''is present perfect tence, so it's correct~
And ''now''between ''has'' and ''been''is also correct
it mentions ''now''and ''has been promoted''
so that means ''from the past, it begins to...and until now it's also doing that thing ''
therefore , i think this sentence is correct~~

hope it can help u~

Hey! 'xxxx has now been promoted to the position of senior manager.'is a wrong sentence. The usage in Present prefect is correct but the word 'now' is wrong. You shouldn't put 'now' between 'has' and 'been promoted ',it is a wrong grammer. If you put 'now' in this sentence,It should be continuous tense !
