Solve by using substitution.

-2x - y = -2
3x + 4y = -7

-2x - y = -2
y = -2x - (-2)
y = (-2x + 2) ...... (1)

3x + 4y = -7

Substitute (1) for y.
3x + 4(-2x + 2) = -7
3x - 8x + 8 = -7
-5x = -7 - 8
x = -15/(-5)
x = 3

-2x - y = -2

Substitute 3 for x.
-2(3) - y = -2
-6 - y = -2
y = -6 - (-2)
y = -4

∴ x = 3, y = -4

i got this...ok...
im not very smart
but i wanna try it:D

you..add two..so y=0...?
then 4 x 0= 0 + 7= 7 - 3 =4
so (y=0,x=4)

i dont think this is right...
but whatever
its summer..why are u doing this kind of math
this is certainly not highschool/ college math.
i didnt this in middle school:l

- 8x - 4y = - 8
3x + 4y = - 7-----ADD

- 5x = - 15
x = 3

9 + 4y = - 7
4y = - 16
y = - 4

x = 3 , y = - 4
