Kevin, when you start working for a CPA firm you will be asked to research things such as the proper treatment for GAAP and tax law. Research is an very important part of the job so you need to learn how.
All I had to do was to google "CPA requirements by state" and what do you know! There are a lot of sites that give that information.
The state of California also publishes a handbook for CPA applicants. You can find it here:

You may think that I'm a jerk for berating you for being lazy, but my answer is all hearts and flowers compared to what will happen to you when you start working. If your boss asks you to research something and you ask "How do I do that?" he or she will take that into consideration when you are up for a promotion, a raise, or the firm is laying off staff. There are no multiple choice exams in the working world.
