Let x = 8sinu
dx = 8cosu du
√(82 – x2) = 8 cosu
when x = 0, u = 0
when x = 8, u = π/2
So I = integration from 0 to π/2
∫(8cosu)(8cosu)du
= 32∫(cos2u + 1)du
= 16 π
Volume = π(1120/3) + 64π2

呵 ! 很熱鬧 ! !
我計數往往「計十條, 九條唔答案」。
所以這此我以為很聰明, 在找到方法後, integration部分不做了。
但可惜仍然有錯, 圖中 PB = sqrt(8^2 – x^2) + 2 才對。就像 nelsonywm2000 朋友的一樣就是了。早幾天他已指出我的一個錯處, 多謝。

至於「老爺子」的方法, 我覺得中間部分不是柱體, 應該有點似一個鼓。

由於橫切面不大清晰, 所以不敢肯定 nelsonywm2000 和我的答案是否正確。

Volumn=4/3 * Pi * 8^3 + Pi * 8^2 * 4
=2948.9152 sq unit
