I've always said an Absence of Spirituality is in itself a form of Spirituality. I'd consider it a Spirituality (where each has their own code of functioning morals) rather than a Religion.
Atheists in the household here disagrees...
[Later: Really guesses what's the definition of Religion one's using. Technically most definitions I've heard would suggest that Buddhism was not a Religion.
Atheism has no Dogma - but there are many Religions without Dogma. I know some people can be Religious without being Spiritual and others can be Spiritual without being Religious - well that's why I'd suggest it's more a form of Spirituality than anything else.
I'd suggest the fact that it is a strong individualistic perspectives - in that aspect it is similar to Paganism. After all you ask 5 Atheists about their Atheism & you'll get 7+ different answers..]
