worry or worries - are anxiety; disturbance of mind; may use for "牽掛住" ; , but it much more for "擔心" !

and then

solicitous - is eager; anxious; concerned

not much suitable for "牽掛住" !

usually we used "牽掛住" more for something we miss a lot.

so, i suggest just simple use "miss" will be more better .

for example: " i miss you" (我掛住你 or 我牽掛著你)

然後

solicitous - 是 : 熱切的；熱望的；掛念的

是 熱切期望的! 不大適合用於"牽掛住" !

通常我們使用 "牽掛住" 於某些我們比較掛念或思念的 !

所以，我建議只是簡單的使用"miss"會更好.

例如 : " i miss you" (我掛住你 or 我牽掛著你)

Solicitous 是形容詞，｢Solicitous about/for/of｣ 的意思是｢牽掛著事/物/人｣

Mary is solicitous about her future. (Mary 牽掛著她的前途。)

Her father was solicitious for her safe return. (她的爸爸牽掛著她，希望她平安回來。)

Peter is solicitous of his mother. (Peter 牽掛著他的媽媽。)
