Most people think it sounds boring because they don't understand the nature of eternal life. In eternity, we will be learning. Wouldn't it be wonderful to spend eternity learning the secrets of the universe?
Im 37, and I'm already bored
I don't have a view on it because it does not exist.
It's the perfect little fairytale ending to a life nobody wants to see the end of. People persist in these kind of delusions because it makes them feel comfortable.
They have never tasted a nice Cup of Tea
Chinese Green Tea tastes good
I'd rather die and then be reincarnated.
Well, think about it:
Eternal life = living forever.
Forever and ever and ever and ever.....into infinity.
You are bound to get bored eventually.
Because infinity is endless.
No sleep in heaven, no sex either.
Because their lives are boring? More life means more boring.
I don't know if they really think that. Maybe they are afraid they won't get there and want to make themselves feel better about it just in case.
Eternal Life isnt boring! Whoever thinks that doesn't truly know God.
Eternal damnation is worst. Be careful.
Maybe it has something to do with eternal?
There would need to be an infinite number of options available to keep one amused
參考: Eventually you would be doing stuff you don't like or that is moraly wrong just to break the monotony
It would be worse than eternal agony.
Death gives life meaning and purpose
Imagine if you had trillions and trillions of years to live without an end
Every living being deserves to rest in peace after they die
It's called small-mindedness. Some people can't imagine what life would be like outside of their own bubble.
It wouldnt be. God has a LOT in store for those who choose to follow him. Believe me!!
because these people are foolish and have no clue as to what is in Heaven

THE PURPOSE OF LIFE
WHY do you enjoy walking in a park or strolling through a field of sweet-smelling flowers? Why is it that your spirits soar when you see a beautiful lake or towering mountains with their peaks in the clouds? Why do you stop to listen as birds sing their cheery songs in the treetops? And why is it so pleasant to watch a graceful deer bounding along or a flock of sheep grazing in a meadow?
There is one answer to all these questions. We were made to live in Paradise! That is where our first parents, Adam and Eve, began their life. We got our desire to live in Paradise from them, and they got it from their Creator, Jehovah God. He knew that we humans would be happy in Paradise because he created us with the qualities needed to enjoy such a wonderful earthly home.
Why did Jehovah create the earth? He “formed it even to be inhabited” by humankind. (Isaiah 45:18) “The Maker of the earth” gave Adam and Eve a beautiful paradise home, the garden of Eden. (Jeremiah 10:12; Genesis 2:7-9, 15, 21, 22) How they must have enjoyed its streams, its flowers, its trees! Graceful birds could be seen in the sky, and animals of various kinds roamed the land—none of them a threat to humans. Fish and other creatures moved about in earth’s clear, clean waters. Best of all, Adam and Eve were together. They could bring forth their kind and expand their Paradise home in joyful association with their growing family.
Although the earth is not a paradise today, it can be compared to the fine home of a happy family. Our God-given global home has what we need—light, heat, water, and food. How we appreciate the sun’s light and heat and the moon’s soft glow at night! (Genesis 1:14-18) In earth’s cellar there are fuels, such as coal and oil, that we can use for heating. Because of the water cycle and earth’s system of rivers, lakes, and seas, we have water. And as a carpet, the earth has green grass.
Just as food may be stored in a home, there is plenty in earth’s pantry. By means of crops in the fields and fruit in the orchards, Jehovah ‘gives us fruitful seasons and fills our hearts with good cheer.’ (Acts 14:16, 17) Since the earth is already such a fine home, imagine what it will be like when “the happy God,” Jehovah, makes it a paradise!—1 Timothy 1:11.
God’s Purpose for the Earth
Soon to Be Fulfilled
WHEN Adam and Eve were still in Paradise, they received this God-given mandate: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.”—Genesis 1:28.
Subduing the earth meant more than cultivating or caring for only a small part of it. Adam and Eve and their offspring were to extend Paradise until it covered the whole globe. However, the first human couple sinned and were driven out of the garden of Eden. (Genesis 3:23, 24) But that did not mean that the earth would never be subdued.
With God’s blessing, Israel’s fields produced plenty
Because they will be blessed by God, obedient mankind will be able to subdue the earth. When the people of ancient Israel had God’s blessing, their fields produced fine crops and their orchards excellent fruit. Similar conditions will exist as our globe gradually becomes a paradise. As promised in God’s inspired Word, the Bible, “the earth itself will certainly give its produce; God, our God, will bless us.” (Psalm 67:6) In effect, the earth’s meadows and mountains, its trees and flowers, its rivers and seas will rejoice. (Psalm 96:11-13; 98:7-9) Our globe will be alive with lush vegetation, colorful birds, splendid animals, and warmhearted people.
Things New and Wonderful!
Jehovah certainly gave us a splendid home when he prepared the earth for human life. He himself said that all his earthly work was “very good.” (Genesis 1:31) Satan the Devil led Adam and Eve into rebellion. (Genesis 3:1-5; Revelation 12:9) However, God will soon see to it that the upright have “the real life.” That is “everlasting life” under perfect conditions in Paradise. (1 Timothy 6:12, 19) Let us now consider some of the blessings that will be enjoyed at that time.
During Christ’s Thousand Year Reign, Satan will be restrained and will be unable to bring woe upon humankind. Says the apostle John: “I saw an angel [the archangel Michael, or Jesus Christ] coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. And he hurled him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended.” (Revelation 20:1-3; 12:12) Besides freedom from Satan’s influence while he is abyssed, mankind will enjoy many other blessings under Kingdom rule.
Wickedness, violence, and warfare will be things of the past. The Bible promises: “Ju
Because they have the wrong hope for that eternal life. Many people think that the eternal life promised in the Bible for most of us is going to be in heaven.
When in fact Revelation says that it will be in heaven for just 144000 selected followers, selected by God, purchased from mankind. While ruling as kings and priests for a thousand years with Christ they will find plenty to do in the position they will be granted. They will not get bored!
(Revelation 14:3-5) 3 And they are singing as if a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to master that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth. 4 These are the ones that did not defile themselves with women; in fact, they are virgins. These are the ones that keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes. These were bought from among mankind as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb, 5 and no falsehood was found in their mouths; they are without blemish.
(Revelation 20:6) 6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.
The rest who will get eternal life will receive it here on earth as it was originally intended by God in the Genesis account. In perfect conditions, perfect health, etc. Living here on earth in perfect health and without suffering you will be able to do and explore so much of creation that you will never get bored!
(Luke 23:43) 43 And he said to him: “Truly I tell you today, You will be with me in Paradise.”
(Isaiah 45:18) 18 For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.
(Job 33:25) 25 Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.’
(Psalm 72:16) 16 There will come to be plenty of grain on the earth; On the top of the mountains there will be an overflow. His fruit will be as in Leb′a•non, And those who are from the city will blossom like the vegetation of the earth.
(Isaiah 11:9) 9 They will not do any harm or cause any ruin in all my holy mountain; because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters are covering the very sea.

I don't know. I know it won't be boring.
It is because time gives you the opportunity to experience things. There are only so many things to experience. Once you are done, you would actually want to die. Eventually you would be in a life of torture from all the monotany, with no way out. It would be beyond boring, it would be true torture. A point will come that you will mentally need to die (a point determined by you and you only). Imagine no way out of that.
Everything gets boring after a while...when we're over it were glad its over..now if its eternal...it sounds like it would be boring
Well either you will be punished forever or you will be happy forever. Neither of which sound boring.
it would be boring because you dont hav an end, everything has an end. Lets just say it didnt.
- if it didnt then the world would be a bore and overpopulate
- there is limited things to do also
- if you paralize yourself nothing can change that
- eventually everyone would kill themselves because there would be nothing to live for anymore.
so you see, everything needs an end
It depends on what you are doing for eternity. A lot of folks seem
to think that being a lacky to a Middle Eastern dictator for eternity
would be exciting. I suppose that there is something to this,
in that you would be continually having to watch what you say,
even think, since the dictator is also telepathic. Heaven kinda
sounds like Hell, doesn't it?
Eternal life is Heaven won't be boring for me. Some people think it is because they think all they do is stand around and sing praises in a choir or something, but that's if they get into Heaven. You see, I'm a big Christian, and when someone truly accepts Jesus as their Savior, eventually, they'll want nothing more than to praise Him and glorify Him. To me, I can't wait to be in Heaven. I'm gonna be dancing for eternity. :)
I dont know why people think that! Eternal life is going to ROCK!!!
idk.. but they shouldn't think its boring, they shouldnt even think its fun though because... IT DOES NOT EXIST! yes its true there is no stinkin' eternal life you only get one life and thats all you get! ok there its done.
Just the though of having to see "god" FOREVER sounds like it would get boring after a while.
It would negate the thrill of living. Nothing to worry about is nice, but how long can we go before a boredom and melancholy sets in? Given enough time I will have done everything on earth, learned every language, and slept with everybody on earth. Then what? Do it all again? Then what?
are you a Jehovah's witness?.. cause if you are then Internal life meaning Paradise would be great! not boring because we would become perfect human beings. im a Jehovah's witness
What on earth could we possibly do that would take eternity? Really? Are we just gonna stand around and look at each other? But that's not my view. That's just what i think other people think. Cause i believe we will be busy making our own worlds and universes like Christ did.
What exactly do you think eternal life is? There's no TV, no sex, no chocolate cake, just worshiping God 24/7 for eternity. I would imaging that would get boring pretty quickly. In fact, soon enough to feel like hell.
I think the perception of eternal life is not understood. It's not hanging out in the clouds, singing in a choir, strumming a harp. It's being in the presence of God, as opposed to the other alternative....eternity apart from God, that is sadness, weeping. It sure won't be partying and rock and roll in the "other" place.
Take a minute to think what eternal life means, it would mean you would grow older and older for ever and watch all those around you die, and what happens in trillions of years when theres nothing left on earth. would you just float about in space endlessly
they have to rationalize not wanting it somehow. i suppose "boring" is as good a rationalization as any other.
According to what we know all the pleasures we enjoy here ,will be taken away from us. I`ll stay here thank you.
Because it would be. Just think of an eternity of doing...well. whatever it is you'd be doing. I get bored with my own day and I'm mortal! I'd HATE to live eternally. Boring as Hell.
People can only compare eternal life to what they can see, hear, touch, or think life may be like after this. This thinking is flawed because they can not compare it with anything.
either way this is answered people will have there on oppinions and possibly get angry :(
I think you need to define eternity first. or eternal at least....
Because if you had it life wouldn't be so precious and you would do whatever you wanted and that would be boring
Because.
it's eternal life?
it doesn't sound as fun.
cuz it might be tiring
not everyone's life is close to perfect, so what's the point in living an imperfect life forever?
because then you will never go to heaven and doesn't everyone wanna go there?!!?!
They are red americans who nobody likes. Heck they don't even like people of non-white origin.
