3 days in Puerto Rico?

Well you should book the hotel before you get there. Hotels in PR are just as expensive as they are in the US. You wont find much under $100 per night. I think you might want to try to book the room with the flight b/c it's cheaper sometimes. You can rent a room without speaking spanish many people (especially at hotels) speak english.

But for spending you can get by without much money if thats what you normally do. Tourist areas can be expensive but there is cheap local food everywhere. PR is known for kiosks by the roads that serve good food (mostly fried) very cheap. Drinking in a bar or club is expensive but a bottle of Bacardi or a beer from the store is cheap. You can site see in Old San Juan for free by walking around & to go in El Morro Fort its like $5 I think. While you stay in San Juan you will only need a little money for taxi's & bus's. The days that you decide to move around the island you will want to rent a car. $30 per day is the cheapest you'll find or you can try the publico's but they only go to certain locations

For food, site seeing & souveniers you should only need about $200-300. For the hotel you will need more.

i say you should bring 650 cuz our money is like double over there and what you dont spend you can just bring back. plus you want to make sure you can afford everything.
