Aerospace Engineering in USA

I am currently studying in UK and I would try to apply MIT to study Aerospace Engineering but I have heard that foreign people cannot study this subject because it is national security. Is it true? Urgent~~~

my frd is having a master degree in aerospace & mechnical engineering and he doesnt even have green card; as far as I know there is no such restriction, it might be different for MIT so you'd better check with the department

however the point is you are not really able to get a job in aerospace field within US without residency status - everything is highly confidencial

well unless you are going academically there might be a chance
