nope.Cut into small pieces they're great as training treats. I prefer to use "people" food for training because you can put it in your mouth which keeps your hands free.

Hot dogs are no worse for dogs than they are for people. Keep in mind that all-beef hotdogs have a fairly high fat content so they can be calorie-rich. Just be aware of how much you're giving and don't overdo it. Be especially careful if you have a small dog since they require far fewer calories per day than people realize. It depends on how much you give them. Pork is ussally in hot dogs and to much pork is really not good for dogs. For training I use very small peices of cheese or they have dried chicken that I break up and give to my dogs. Also ho dog have alot of salt and additives. They are not that good for you either because of this so in moderation would be okay but not alot. Hope that helped

Hot dogs are a great tool for training dogs. At my vet office we use them for hiding pills for cats and dogs. So no, they aren't bad for them.

Yes. They are just as bad for dogs as they are for us. The reason why is because they have this ingredient called Sodium Nitrite which can cause cancer. They also have a bunch of other **** like mechanically separated meat, high fructose corn syrup, modified food starch, and artificial liquid smoke flavoring.

Not too much for your dogs. The problem is that they have a LOT of salt in them. Dogs only need a small amount of sodium and all that salt in hotdogs are not good for them.

Not generally. Be sure to give them very little. Try cutting them into very small bits and using those bits. But vary your training food for a proper diet and don't ALWAYS use food.
Be sure to always accompany a food treat with lots of love and encouragement in a verbal treat. Pet and love them with the food so eventually they will do the trick or complete the command for just the love.
