first factorize the terms
5x^5y^2= 5 * x * x * x * x * x * y * y

15x^2y^3=3*5 * x * x * y * y * y

x^3y^5= x * x * x * y * y * y * y * y
so the greatest common factor is x*x*y*y
=x^2y^2=B

(B)

Just look for the lowest power x and y terms (X^2 and y^2) and the lowest numerical coefficient (1).

It's 24 because 24*2 = 48 and 24*3 = 72

The answer is 100% (B).

x^2 y^2
your answer is b

5x^5y^2 + 15x^2y^3 + x^3y^5
= x^2y^2(5x^3 + 15y + xy^3)
(answer B)

choice b

the greatest common factor (gcf) of 5, 15, and 1 is 1
the gcf of x^5, x^2, and x^3 is x^2
the gcf of y^2, y^3, and y^5 is y^2

so the gcf is 1*x^2*y^2 = x^2y^2 which is choice b

hope that helps
