15. D.
There is no force acting on X because the surface where X contacts with Y is smooth. Hence, zero acceleration for X
Acceleration for Y = 18/6 m/s2 = 3 m/s2
12. C
Since no diagram is give, I presume both the boy and girl are at hte same height.
18. 1st statement is wrong. Friction may be present on the slope.
2nd statement is right.
