x^2=45 I need help please?
solve x^2=45 where x is a real numbe. Simplify your answer as much as possible. If there is more than one solution, separate them with commas.

x^2 = 45
x = ±√45 (+/-√45)
x = ±√(9^2 * 5)
x = ±√(9^2) * √5
x = ±3 * √5
x = ±3√5
x² = 45
x² = 9(5)
x = (â9)(â5)
x = 3â5
x = +/- 3â5 OR +/- 3(2.236068)
Answer: x = +/- 3â5 OR +/- 3(2.236068)
x^2=3\/'''5'''
x=+& - 6.708 both are acceptable.
x^2 = 45
x^2 = 9x5
take the squaroot of both sides
x = (sqrt9 )(sqrt5)
x = + - 3 sqrt (5) *****Answer
x ² = 45
x ² = ( 9 ) ( 5 )
x = 3â5
x=+6.708,x=-6.708
x=6708/1000, x=-6708/1000
x=1677/250, x=-1677/250
x^2 = 45
x^2 - 45 = 0 ... (subtract 45 for both sides)
x^2 - (3â5)^2 = 0 ...[since 45 = (3â5)^2 ]
(x + 3â5)(x - 3â5) = 0 ....[factor a^ - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)]
*** x + 3â5 = 0 ==> x = -3â5
**** x - 3â5 = 0 ==> x = + 3â5
The answers are: x = -3â5 or x = +3â5
Good Luck!
x^2=45
x=屉45=屉9̉5
=±3â5
Since â5 is an irrational number, it cannot be converted to a fraction, because every fraction is a rational number
Square root of 45 is the same as the square root of (5x9)
So we take the square root of both numbers, giving us â5 x 3
so x = +/- 3â5.
The +/- means positive or negative, because when you square root a number you get 2 solutions that are negatives of each other.
