婚姻注冊屬省政府市務,所以各省可有不同

查得多倫多,即Ontario省的法例如下:
雙方必為18歲或以上,敞若任何一方只是16、或17歲的話,那必需得到父母的同意.而任何人少於16歲的話,都不準於Ontario省內結婚.

以下是來自多倫多市政府的節錄:
Both partners must be 18 years of age or older. If you are 16 or 17 years of age, parental consent is required. If you are under the age of 16 years you may not marry in the Province of Ontario.


而温哥華,即 B.C.省的法例如下:
任何人士達19歲或以上均可注冊結婚.如任何人少於19的話,都必需得到雙方父母同意.而16歲以下人仕結婚則需經過法院的同意.

以下是來自温哥華市政府的節錄:
Anyone over 19 years of age is eligible to apply for a marriage licence in BC. Anyone under 19 years of age must first obtain the consent of both parents. No one under 16 years can be married without the consent of the Supreme or County Court.
